I have no idea what you mean by that. I mean it. If you like something, you like it. And the Abarth is amazing. If it’s an Ego thing and you’re worried about what others may think, fine.  But it’s objectively a really fun car to own, use and abuse if you’re into backroads spirited driving.

I personally haven’t had a single issue. This is my second Abarth. The first one was a new 2009 that I sold when we had a kid. Also never had a single issue. Saving grace with used ones now is that they are really inexpensive to buy. Even ones in great shape. Problem is keeping yourself from tuning it! So much

Pops and bangs

A new Honda Civic Sport with a 6 Speed manual.

Oh, my bad. Makes sense now. Yes, absolutely break the law to avoid death and injury. Goes without saying.

Of course, but how’s that applicable here?

Brakes do exist in cars, you know. Believe it or not, you can actually slow down or *gasp* stop!

Did you even read the article or did you just read the title and decided to go on a crusade?

You lost the argument at 100K miles haha. What you describe counts as very reliable.

The OP already provided the correct answer.

Off camber, blind, no rail. I think a county lawsuit is in order. Why are off camber roads even allowed, especially in places with inclement weather?!

It’s why I bought a used Abarth Cabrio recently. I can drive it like I stole it all the time and still be passed by every minivan made in the last 5 years. Forget trying to light race anyone. And it’s the most fun I’ve had since my Miata. All the fun, none of the fines and needing to go 70 on a curvy road just to feel

Most of them I think. Corolla, Mazda 3 for sure. Also, Honda Civic comes with a manual but it’s not listed here.

This list is incomplete without the new Honda Civic. $24k for an Accord sized daily commuter that’s comfortable, well appointed bone stock and very reliable (n/a 2L that’s older than Troy).

The Tesla thing has to be regional. I’m in NY and in NYC most are Ubers, and upstate it’s mostly mid level white collar sensible people driving 5 under the limit. But every time I go west or mid-west, the idiot doing really dumb stuff is often in a Tesla.

All lifted pick-up trucks, all pick-up trucks not used by people currently needing the pick-up truck for work, all pick-up trucks driven by people waring Oakleys, all white pick-up trucks, Altimas, Jeep Grand Cherokees.

Lol no!

No worries at all. Didn’t take it as an insult. Young and stupid was the reason for everything those days. I would work 3 jobs over the summer to afford a semblance of life only to piss it away on a $12k “dream car” and regret it immediately. Sold it because I couldn’t afford it basically. My accord was also a ‘94 and

I had a $4k Accord Ex that my brother totaled. He owed me a car at that point. So I took what he owed me, added all of my money and got the Carrera. The reason I sold it was the fact that I spent all of my money on it at the end of the summer (I spent summers working multiple jobs so that I could eat the rest of the

I missed this one but here it is; 1972 Carrera with crappy paint and a very very slow oil leak that I bought for $12k at an auction outside of Rochester, NY in 2002-2003. I was a broke ass college kid and I couldn’t afford to have it fully sorted so I sold it and got a Golf II and used the rest of the money to pay for
