Can anyone explain a reason why always on lights aren’t a standard thing? Not DRL, not automatic, just on? Alway’s. No user input.

Yup. It would allow people that live in dense cities without at home charging to be able to own an EV without too much headache.
I agree. My issue is that people pretend that it’s impossible to not own a giant car. They bought into the marketing and the “mah freedom” and buy cars by the pound at this point. Preference is one thing. But saying that small cars are impossible to use for a family is just not true.
That’s such bullshit. Both my brother and I are 6'2", My dad is 5'11" and we grew up in 80's and 90's Cadets, Astras, Golfs and Renault 5s. We all fit. We all went to Italy and Spain and whatever every summer without any discomfort and a trunk full of stuff. All of those cars are smaller than today’s compacts and…
I HIGHLY disagree that he deserves jail time. He wasn’t under influence, the equipment isn’t his nor his responsibility, he reacted immediately by getting into the shoulder and only got out because another vehicle/truck was there and he would have died if he stayed. And it’s likely that even then, his truck could have…
I see your point but most police chases that result in the death of bystanders tends to be in urban areas. Prohibiting chases within city limits would be a good start.
I’m European. Born and raised. No we don’t.
We simply need to make police car chases illegal under federal law and be done with this idiotic thing. Helicopters, cameras, road blocks and anti theft devices work so much better and don’t kill people. No adrenaline, no trigger happy cop after the car has stopped, etc etc.
My coworker is looking to buy a CRV Hybrid EX and the markup in Jersey is $6.5k.
This guy should add an F to his GTO and just GTFO
Outside of romanticizing something that was new before most people here were of driving age? (ahem, supra)
All of Star Wars.
My manual experience was German driving school and a completely impossible to stall Opel Vectra TDI. It was the 90s.
Jesus Christ, Gizmodo really has gone to shit.
They do and I own a stationary, but my riding was cigarette in the corner of my mouth and tunnel vision through traffic. I fell in love with the urban fixie culture before it was hip and really enjoyed the adrenaline. But then reality hit. I still ride on the weekends on the bike paths and its great. But I wish I…
Rode fixed gear in NYC for around 10 years, 22 miles a day (11 miles to work each way). Loved it.
Problem now will be getting anything even remotely close to MSRP.
Both my wife and I have been using pixels and she’s currently on a 3a and I’m on a 4a with no noticable degradation. But shes due to an upgrade, having shattered her screen last week...
You had me at “8600 rpm redline”
I think I agree. The easiest purchase I ever got was my GTI. Sales dude and I agreed on the price, went to finance guy and he gave me such a good APR, I financed through VW. Tried the extended warranty, I said no thanks and that was that.
