Maybe. I walked away from two deals this summer because of the “Finance Guy”. One killed 50+ points off my credit score by doing hard checks without telling me and I didn’t find out until later. I wasn’t looking for financing (my bank does better) yet he ran all the stuff without me signing a thing.

You have the sales vs finance asshole all wrong and reversed.

Agreed. Base Civic is a great buy, just like a base Corolla is. But the second you start adding packages and options and going into upper tiers, GTI immediately becomes a better car. But the same is true for the GTI and Autobahn Trim. Massive waste of money.

I don’t understand why car companies build hatchbacks that aren’t hatchbacks, make manual transmissions an unrelated compromise (colors in this case) and then claim how no one buys them so they’ll make more CUVs.

Agreed. Bought one. GT2 pack for $25k (dealer was an asshole though... ugh).

Price and availability would be my guess, aside from shape preference.

I can’t think of a more American car than this

You’re allowed to appear and act suspicious as FUCK as long as you want to. Because looking suspicious is not a damn crime!

This is the most terrible and racist idea this city has ever had, and it’s had a lot of those.

Unpopular opinion but here it goes.

The main difference is that more people can use the 86 as their only car, compared to the Miata. That could be an objective “better”.

Reading the replies, it’s scary how many people fight that term yet don’t understand what it even means.

CVT. You forgot CVT. With fake gears and paddles, of course.

I had to look it up. Never knew a Dodge Journey existed

Blinkers.

More energy is wasted on people watching mindless TV than it is wasted on track days in a year.

The shape is just wrong though. Of course this is all preference.

Lack of golf ball shifter is a serious offense. Not joking.

Something similar happened to me recently with a Toyota dealer in Brooklyn.

Welcome to Brooklyn.
