Dota and CS are maintained by separate teams, they have absolutely nothing to do with each other.

I understand that some games aren’t meant for some people, but calling a game bad because you don’t like it is just stupid.
Quote me where I said port once. Jesus, is it that hard for you to admit you were wrong?
Gaben, stop posting comments on Kotaku and get back to work fixing the Summer Sale Game.
I don’t know what you call it when they release a game for a certain generation of consoles, then a year later announce that they’re bringing it to a newer console generation and PC with better graphics, textures, resolution, etc. That sounds like a pretty textbook remaster to me.
“So, you think you can buy the console…
If by just, you mean 2 years ago, then yes, it just came out.
I’ll say it’ll be on for about 20 minutes but all of that time will be when they’re talking about a PS4 game and they mention ‘you can hook a Vita to do [Insert pointless gimmick no one cares about]’.
Did you read the same thing I did? The only ones that were completely wrong were in regards to release dates (UC 3 being the big one) and in regards to the number of F2P games coming. I was impressed hat almost every single one was right actually....
In all fairness, games in general seem to have way better stories than most movies that come out as of late.
I dont agree that letting people skip combat in games is a good idea... but i have a feeling youre playing different games than the autor. The vast majority of story driven RPG players for example will tell you that the story is more interesting than the combat.
I almost exclusively play games for the narrative, character development, and world building so “360 no-scoping bitches” never really helps flesh those concepts out. It’s often the peanut butter that I have to wade through to get to the good stuff.
I’m all for letting people skip combat.
I’ve long wanted Bioware to allow us to skip combat sequences. I enjoy the combat in their games, but when I’m playing the game for the 5th time I’m really just doing it for the story and the choices.
You’re welcome.
Being able to play splitscreen co-op makes multiplayer so much more accessible, especially with the cost of current-gen consoles. Framerate has always taken a hit in splitscreen, but it was nice to at least have the option. Your friend who knows nothing about Halo isn’t going to buy an unfortunately-named, expensive…
Its something completely different than a 3D monitor. Perspective doesnt matter. In VR, even in 3rd person perspective, you feel present in the world. In a 3rd person game you feel as if youre floating behind/above the character you control and are in the world with it.
I’ve been desparately trying to find splitscreen games to play with my friends when they come over. My girlfriend also likes to play video games with me and the lack of split screen multiplayer or even some sort of local multiplayer in a lot of games that aren’t indie titles (which seem to be mostly competetive in…
If only that Xbone wasn’t so underpowered #shotsfired
