As long as my console of choice, this gen the Xbox One, remains available for sale and continues to have games, I don’t give a shit which company sells more consoles.

They’re in a huge lead because Don Mattrick couldn’t find his dick with both hands and a map, and he handed Sony this generation about four minutes into the Xbone launch announcement. Let’s not pretend that Sony’s lead is due to any particular business acumen on Sony’s part. It’s not hard to win a race when your…
You are wrong. The ADA covers emotional support animals on commercial flights and housing FROM BEING CHARGED EXTRA MONEY. That’s it. And in order to fly with them you must present a dated, signed, and stamped form that you get directly from the airline and must be filled by a REAL doctor. There is no federal law, or…
Horsehit. You’ve completely missed the point due to either being intentionally obtuse or just plain ignorant. This has nothing I do with me or anyone else “liking” the statistics so climb off of your high horse. The value of digital commodities is different than physical ones. Digital games being made continually…
I have PTSD and I have an emotional support dog. She is not a trained service animal, they are not equivalent. It is not the world’s responsibility to take care of me and bend over backwards when I need her. It is my responsibility to make sure she does not harm anyone. And it is my responsibility to figure out ways…
Well that sounds like a very Sony Fanboi statement, at least you kind of covered your tracks in another post
I thought service animals were required to have their own seat. Guess I was wrong.

Gameboy Color could play Gameboy
Gameboy Advance could play Gameboy / Gameboy Color

3DS could play DS
Xbox 360 could play (some) original Xbox.
WiiU could play Wii.
With add-ons, Sega Genesis could play Master System,…
The 360 did not lack backwards compatibility. You couldn’t play ALL original XBox games on the 360, but there were almost 300 titles you could play and that increased over time.
This doesn’t matter. And it still means at minimum hundreds of thousands of users DO use it. But it still doesn’t matter. It shows ME cares about their consumers and that digital content bought from them is a safe purchase in the long term. Plus it expands the library and has they done Thai from launch it would have…
The next gen will 90% likely have full BC. The switch to x86 architecture was a huge deal. The older consoles were just to hard to emulate efficiently.
It’s just in how you present the numbers. Statistics are pretty famous for being massaged to fit whatever narrative you are trying to make.
I’d want to see what the breakdown is based on genre. For example, lot of the clamor for backwards compatibility comes from JRPG players. They may be in the minority, but they’re a fairly reliable niche, in that they tend to buy older games they missed if they come available.
The issue here is the same as smart TVs: even the best hardware, software, and design will not age as well as their host. Crappy is forever. You’ll hate it as much tomorrow as you do today.
There is no need to buy any of the ships. Absolutely none.
You can buy everything ingame with ingame money when the title comes out.
“Buying” a ship right now is only sending money to the devs as a pledge with no guarantees for any outcome because you belive in the direction they are taking this game.
Anyway, in my…
Problem A: Midterms are not given anywhere near the amount of press that the presidential elections are, and then there are indeed the people who don’t care, that is Problem B. This article is trying to solve problem A, you’re arguing it shouldn’t because of Problem B.
You said people won’t be able to miss it...and then pointed out that turnout is lower for midterms. Hmm, looks like people must be missing it!
Sorry, but it’s only currently the republicans who are trying to withdraw from the U.N., assault the environment, roll-back abortion rights, and recently dismantle their own ethics oversight.
In this very thread, you’re talking with someone else who has a different experience than you. And they’re exactly who this article is for. A reminder and an encouragement to get involved while there’s still plenty of time. You can call me lazy for doing it and call them uneducated for not already having done what…
There is literally zero harm in telling people to add an event to their calendar. Setting aside the argument that relying on a flood of news to tell you about an election is a poor way to manage your life, there is a non-zero number of people who want to be involved but are either new to the process or not in the…
