You don't have to make money off someones property to eat away to their profits. If I gave away Tesla's for free I'd be preventing Tesla from actually profiting from their own product since everyone would opt for the free car. Copyright allows creators full control over their creation which you just can't do while

Yeah, actually that is the whole point about copyright. It is so someone cannot make money off of something similar to what you created or make a blatant copy. It has everything to do with profit.

Yeah, someone mentioned Robot Chicken, and I can say that the video we are talking about is far from a parody as Robot Chicken is, and as far as satire, I don't think there is even any. And yeah, just like you can sue someone for things like lost revenue, meaning revenue you weren't able to make for whatever reason,

Should be spending some of that money on a legal team, so they can draft him a few agreements with the owners of the intellectual properties.

He's arguing it's a satire of the original, which would put it in fair use territory. This is how Robot Chicken is legal.

The fuck it is...That is NOT covered under fair use...It's also a CHILDREN'S show that someone with too much time on their hands felt the need to make an adult version of....You can bet your ass Saban would want it removed rather then run the risk of even the notion of it being somehow tied back to them...The Power

How does it fail every factor? You seem like you have some knowledge on the subject so a point by point break down would be helpful in understanding. Thanks!

It feels very strange when the PC version has no co op at all even though the perception was there would be co op.

Really? I always thought copyright infringement is due to people getting money from someone other's creation.

The producer doesn't call it a reboot, he calls it a Bootleg, just like his "Bootleg" version of the Punisher, which actually starred Thomas Jane from the first Punisher movie. This guy just loves movies, has too much money, and likes making tributes to his favourite things. He uses all his own money and expects

But it is covered under Fair Use, so he is allowed to distribute it. Fan-art is not copyright infringement, even when it's really expensively produced fan-art.

Exactly right. This can be seen as damaging to their brand, so it's well within their rights to shut it down.

But yeah, here's hoping they get their money back. :(

STOP COPYING ME!

Unfortunately, the game technically did say that the game doesn't have splitscreen on the PC. After explicitly saying that it does have it. It's hidden waaaay below at the bottom of the page, so Capcom can legally deny refunds on the grounds of lack of splitscreen.

Unfortunately, a healthy sum of those players have already preordered. Plus, most people wouldn't go for a refund because of the need to justify one's purchase. There was a term for that.

Well........... a guys pecs/boobs will also jiggle as they run and move.

I actually edited a line out of my original post saying basically the same thing. I could see people bemoaning the lack of dick physics if games were rocking labia simulations, but they're not.

For Science!!!! Research!!!

I'm sorry you're afraid of tits, Jimmy.
