I loved the extended cut endings coupled with the Citadel DLC. All that put together made it the best ending to a trilogy ever IMO. You just can’t satisfy hypercritical self-centered gamers nowadays.
The original version was terrible tho.

For me the biggest Pokemon development thing was how Iwata was able to get Gold’s code down to such a small size that they were able to fit Kanto onto the same cartridge!
... It’s insane that just playing this game on an SNES emulator is better than playing the actual official PC release.
Same. This of all things is what’s going to get me to buy a PS4.
Call me crazy, but this is among my most anticipated games of the next year on any platform. God, I love Ratchet & Clank.
I'm wearing a dress (as a man) solely because it has the same buffs as a suit, but I can at least have arm leathers with it
I think it’s truly miserable of Microsoft/343 Industries to have dropped local multiplayer from this game. Especially since they push the co-op features so hard. Gaming with friends present is still an important part of the console experience, and leaving that option behind, along with a lackluster campaign mode and…
Considering the REQ system is why there wont be any ‘buy map packs DLC’ in this halo (if you remember every other halo game you had to buy multiplayer map packs) and the golds/silver req packs are only 2 and 3 bucks, its pretty good deal. Better than having to throw 15 or 20 bucks for 3 or 4 maps each.
I have pre-ordered the game (yes, I know... bad Teek) but I’m excited for what I’ve seen so far. A mediocre campaign and promising multiplayer is the exact definition of Halo 2, and that turned out pretty well. I’m eagerly anticipating playing this, it’s been a while since a game really compelled me to play a console.
Don’t forget Buck was also in Reach. I really need to get caught up on the books and read them again.
I’m totally on board with the Halo form of unlocks / upgrades. It worked very well in Mass Effect 3 - which was only co-op, so it was missing any pay-to-win angle. It was explained as supply drops, so it fit in with the lore but mechanically they were cards.
How is it pay to win exactly? You earn plenty of req points through playing the game and you still have to earn the ability to use power weapons in war zone. Also, I’ll take optional microtransactions in exchange for free dlc maps for everyone.
The part that keeps me ok with it is the cards are for their own multiplayer mode. As in they are only useable (aside from the cosmetic stuff) in warzone. the regular Arena multiplayer stuff does not use them. so you can play the entire game with out them.
and warzone is already going to be a kind of messy affair as…
Halo 2 wasn’t made by 343 and Halo 2 never got finished.
No no no no no. This is NOT the solution. This is taking something AWAY from the experience to appease corporate overlords. The solution is to fix the broken copyright system so that fair use is actually fair. Period.
What’s up with business executives thinking they have better creativity than creative people/team or meddling with the creativity up to the point they piss off everyone? We also keep hearing such in behind-the-scene stories in Hollywood.
SE actually put Terra’s theme in FF14. It plays when you’re riding the Magitek Armor mount. =)
