I’ll be honest, the only time I’ve ever heard about offensive content on steam is through articles like these. Otherwise, offensive games and groups have not once came up when I was browsing steam.

Technically speaking, Fascist groups don’t exist on reddit because of their lax policies. They exist because they completely fail to enforced their policies. Many of the facist groups are already violating reddit’s TOS. Twitter has the same problem.

Yes, when you boil everything down to “a product”. Games carry a message and art. They are not simply “products” like silly putty or strawberry jam.

I have a 1080 Ti with a 144 Hz freesync monitor and I have yet to see tearing. I don’t see the point in either tech if you already have a high refresh rate monitor. And yes, I know freesync doesn’t work with Nvidia cards, that’s my point.

The good thing about this is that steam users can already tag games and I’m sure steam will come out with more filtering features in the future since this announcement.

I’m not a fan of cheap cash grab games but I have the choice to buy them or not. What I hated even more is censoring of content. That because there were a few bad apples everyone had to suffer.

Increasing her cooldown timer for shield bash will reduce her ability to get kills and her tankiness. They should just nerf that and she will come into line.

It does do those things, I just played with it on the Test Server.

With the LFG tool you can completely prevent those people from ever entering your group. They also added a new endorsement system that let’s players give other players a thumbs up when they help the team. The game tracks this and you can select group mates based on it.

I think that has less to do with age then it does time to put into these games. Where you are a kid you typically play 3 hours a day and at least 8 sat and sun on the weekend.

It seems to me that the core audience for fallout and those kind of games do not entirely match up. I think they will loose many players if they decide to make it that kind of game.

online games come with drawbacks. For example, no mods, players can’t individually make a large impact on the game world, and they tend to be more grindy.
