I think you mean 12 months. But yes, an Epic exclusivity announcement is basically a 1 year delay to me. Though, some games have appeared on non-Steam platforms earlier than that (Metro Exodus, Outer Worlds, Mechwarrior 5, Phoenix Point, etc). I guess EGS exclusive really just means “Steam excluded.”

That’s where I’m at - I left consoles because of platform exclusivity. I don’t begrudge anyone if they want to use the EGS, but these games just aren’t important enough to me to set up a second launcher. There’s so many younger players who just take it all for granted and speed through the game, But I love Shirley’s pure enjoyment of the game. Her innocence and wonder she brings to it. She takes her time and carefully explores the world. She’s very mindful what she grabs and what it’s worth.
