The saga in Texas is completely unconscionable. I've been a doctor for eight years and haven't seen anything like it. They're completely disregarding patient autonomy and violating standard medical ethics to force a woman (dead or alive) to be connected to invasive machines to support a 14 week fetus. Abominable.

Let me just say.. As an anesthesiologist... General anesthesia is neither dangerous nor tricky, assuming it's being administered by an anesthesiologist (8 years of post college education/training). It's really quite easy. Much like flying a commercial airliner probably is for pilots.
