Dude, first I actually agree with you for the most part. I never really liked the stories of the GTA games. Except for San Andreas... well not so much the story for that one, I just liked being in control over a gang and taking over all the areas so I am better than anyone else. But that is why I play saints row 3 now.

Personally I figured it averages closer to level 18 when you get it. I only got it so fast this time cuz I was rushing my character back to where I had him in Beta.

level has nothing to do with getting your ship. I got my ship on tuesday at level 15. You just have to complete class quests in the capital city planets.

That's the great thing about early access... free choice of names with very little to worry about.
