You’re also wrong.

Nothing surprises me in 21st century America anymore.

LBJ? For a second I was thinking Johnson had risen from the grave.

We were discussing Trump’s chances last night and I’m cautiously optimistic. Trump didn’t win the popular vote and had about 80,000 votes in three states gone the other way Trump would be nothing more by now than a blip in American political history. Trump’s support is slightly down from Nov 2016 so it’s a matter of

Now, I don’t know very much about how to throw a football to another person... and apparently neither does Manziel.

What I would have given to have a tin can to roll down a hill when I was a kid. My sister and I had to split a rock. One rock, and we had to split it so we each got half a rock. I called mine “Rocky”.

At this point I miss even GW’s oratory. With Bush it constantly looked like he was surprised what was coming out of his mouth. With Trump he casually spews bald-faced lies and thinks nothing of it.

Maaaaaybe. But I’ve been to the States a half dozen times in the last 10 or so years and I’ve seen most demographics whip out their checkbook when it came time to pay. Seniors might write cheques more than other Americans but Americans collectively write more cheques than most countries, certainly more than Canadians.

I’d say we get that prompt 1 out of every 20 check transactions

Like he eats fresh fruit.

No, Trump has huge man-crushes on powerful men (see: Putin, Vladimir V.). He’s on record as being ashamed of having “weak” men in his cabinet. SNL’s use of Melissa McCarthy for Sean Spicer was a big problem for him.

Fit =/= masculine. No question he’s in good shape. But I would argue that any number of women are equally fit and trim. And at least as masculine as Jerry.

Un-funny joke aside, how was Pulp Fiction career-breaking for Bruce Willis? Does she mean it made his career or ended it? Because neither is the case. He was a huge star before Pulp Fiction, thanks to Moonlighting and became a superstar with Die Hard and its sequels. And of course he went on to star in many films

He also saw Full Metal Jacket back in the 80s.

I’m not saying it’s not about Kushner’s religion, but the too much I know about Trump says it’s mostly a macho factor. Specifically Kushner’s complete and total absence of visible masculinity.

I don’t know whether his food was messed with.

I think E=MC Hammered’s comments were interpreted as pro-Trump.

U.S. is spending 4% of GDP on defense which (I guess) works out to 90% of defense spending by all NATO countries.

You’re right of course, but the “simply following orders”, while true, is of course horrible on the ears and raises the spectre of Nazi-like atrocities. But ICE does have a legitimate purpose. It just got all sick and twisted thanks to Trump administration policies. Before ICE there was the INS, etc. and there will

I’m putting a small wager on Civil War II within 50 years. And yes, I hope I lose that bet.
