Yes! Agreed. It started out really well and then got impossibly stupid. I stopped at 5, too. I think they were trying for Anita Blake-lite for the YA crowd, honestly.

Note to all: Vampire Academy is actually excellent.

I feel like there's an entire story there in the picture of Whedon and Chris Hemsworth. Like, I'm just imagining Thor trying to grasp the wisdom of some weedy little sage for one of his valiant quests.

They can find you. They can... do things to your mind, man.

I know it's dirty, but I love that movie.

Hmm, I converted to Twitter and it kept all my settings just fine.

Hmm, I just converted to using Twitter authentication and I'm experiencing no drama across any of the sites. Cool.

I remember that and it was a giant pain in the ass since I used the same password here and on my email like a total dumbass.

You know, though, the Inception thing has promise. Wasn't one of the things in the movie that Cobb couldn't see enter the US because of dream violations? Who busted him? What did he do? How do you police dreams? I'd watch the shit out of Law & Order: Subconscious Crimes Unit.

Well, this was not a therapy thing (though I'm pretty sure I could have benefited from that enormously). This was just an epiphany, sort of.

Hmm, you know, I would. They can wear it for the ceremony, if nothing else, and then it becomes a keepsake. Even before I became a super girly type girl, I had a ton of jewelry that I kept for memories that I never wore. Make it a simple piece, maybe a silver chain with a distinctive charm?

Completely out of the blue this weekend, I worked through my biggest emotional hangup about relationships. I feel like I've lost 30,000 ugly pounds. It's weird how something that's been weighing me down my whole adult life can just evaporate in an instant.

I second the necklace/jewelry suggestion. My best friend gave us each a beautiful necklace and earring set, and I love it so much. Every time I wear it, I think of her and how wonderful her wedding was and how I didn't actually end up in jail for killing her sister but it was really close.

Ideas, newsletter, etc. I think this reality is a better one.

This is from his SNL stint where he was playing the part of Scott Brown, the new cute senator.

As gorgeous as Jon Hamm is when he's all pouty and reflecty and stuff, my favorite pics of him are when he's being the total goofball he so obviously is.

If it is, I need one immediately.

Oh, yes. I think we were talking genre stuff, mostly, but I think the fight between The Bride and the Crazy 88s is the best ever.

Ugh! Do people still do that? How... common.

I feel like Ronan could be the girl at the end, but makes a terrible Melanie. (A non-specific non-spoilery thing that I hope makes sense to someone who has read the book.)
