I think you are exactly right.
I think you are exactly right.
I’m terrified of the day I’ll open Kotaku and be greeted by a giant picture of a Pikachu dressed like the Overwatch main girl
Let’s be honest, we are going to get less reviews because Kotaku is too busy reporting how Random Player n857 made a (un)funny move on Overwatch.
I don’t really like the gaming coverage of IGN - they rely too much on video (because, of course, video gives them more money through advertising), and the opinion pieces are really bad (do you remember the tagline of one of their old shows, “your source of massive LOLs!”? I mean, really?).
The thing is, it’s not only a sea of Overwatch articles, it’s also a sea of shallow Overwatch articles (and similarly poor stories).
God, Kotaku went from being a Destiny fansite to an Overwatch fansite. I don’t know if I’m bothered more by the massive number of articles about Blizzard’s game, or by the lack of coverage about anything else.
Who are the members of the Kotaku staff right now, and what are their areas of expertise? I’m seeing some new faces replacing some of the recent vacancies.
I agree with you, unfortunately.
Meh, not enough fluids. Life is made of blood, sweat, tears, semen, bile and etc - there should be massive rivers and lakes for the scenario to mimic life.
Why so little about the PC Gaming conference? Deus Ex, Dawn of War 3, Tyranny and so on and so on were basically ignored by Kotaku.
Well, a lot of games flew under Kotaku’s radar this time: Deus Ex, Dawn of War 3, Tyranny, and so on and so on. PC coverage was really poor in this E3.
I think your post had more games I’m interested in than the entire E3 report above.
NOOOOOOOOOO, not Richard! ;_; ;_; ;_;
What about touching other people?
Looks interesting, but a bit too barebones. No story mode? Only a few modes and a few maps? Doesn’t look like there are multiple ships available either. Feels more like a tech demo than a full game.
You know, for a moment there it looked like the new Batman would be a combination of the old with the new - that the new Bruce would merge with the old Batman and make an even better result.
Meh, Kotaku is known for its incessant Destiny coverage. One of the main reasons why I come here are Richard’s anime reviews; I just found this article after coming to Kotaku to check if his “anime recommendations of the season” article was up already.
It feels like the kind of person who thinks this and Space Dandy are funny is the same kind of person who laughs at Adam Sandler movies.
Amazing how this story feels similar to Assassin’s Creed, down to the sequels “popping out like hotcakes”. I wonder if some time from now we will have the same story, but about Ubisoft’s franchise.
See, that’s... Not true.
