I actually enjoyed both how the Joker asks Bruce to not be Batman, and how he gets to consolate a weary Bruce who asks “what’s the point”. The Joker saying that, even if things go back, at least they had a moment of peace, was quite powerful.

Does this look a bit too monochromatic? Most of the pictures here look like brown units over brown backgrounds...

I wonder how much of it has been alleviated by the (relatively) good word of mouth Syndicate got after its release. I saw that first week sales were low for the game, but I couldn’t find anything about what happened after that.

I think Final Fantasy X is as good as VI (VI’s characters were better, but X had a better world building).

I agree. I had figured out most of the plot by episode 3 (not as early as you and Richard, but still good enough for me :P).

I usually have a similar taste to Richard regarding anime, and I have seen most of those in the list above. And while I have enjoyed some, no anime this year was THAT great, IMO. Almost everything I watched had some very glaring flaws, and nothing had a big “wow” impact.

I applaud Richar for not caving to bland and shallow fads like OPM. People calling it the “best anime ever” are the same ones who were calling bad anime like Space Dandy “the best anime ever” last year.

For the records, the “hey” thing at text messages is perfectly acceptable if you are the lover of a married woman and are sending a short message to learn if the “coast is clear” so you can proceed with what you want to say, or if you have to pretend to be a co-worker about to ask for document n323.

With Batman, the rumor about Snyder leaving the book soon is probably true. My main concern is that I doubt DC has anyone talented enough to take his place, but who knows, maybe they will get lucky.

Merely the fact you can type a coherent message shows you do not have the kind of disability the child mentioned in this article had.

The controls have never been fixed because the game sells a lot even with the broken controls.
