The thing with Battle World is that we don’t know which characters are “our characters” and which characters are copies from a different dimension.

I agree. In fact, I wish the entire game were in third person view. The third person stealth was great and looked very polished.

It’s actually nice to see how open world content, which has been touted as the new “end-all be-all” of gaming, was not something really important in people’s perception of Final Fantasy.

My issue with the Infinite Engine games is the combat.

If someone did this in the latest SimCity, the unemployment rate would be of 100% and there would still be a lot of traffic on the streets.

The whole traffic mess is a disappointment, but at the end of my week with the game it couldn't really dent how much fun I'd still had with Skylines. The sheer joy of, well, everything else keept me going long after I'd learned to ignore the fact that my city's living were drowning in the bodies of the dead.
