I agree.
I agree.
I'm eagerly waiting for Richard's review of Mekakucity Actors, for the records :D
I think they didn't really have that many options. The AT Fields - love the name "Absolute Terror Field" - were basically a physical manifestation of individuality, and they couldn't find anything else to breach it other than another field, so they kinda had to use living souls for the EVAs. Besides, they were likely…
So, Kotaku, give me wisdom!
I always thought that the reason why Shinji was chosen was (spoilers, but c'mon, it's like 20 years old by now) because Unit 01 was the most powerful of the EVAs, but his mother was not willing to accept anyone else as the pilot. But they were not really expecting Shinji to win, especially not that first fight;…
Ezzio in Assassin's Creed 2, for example. At the time, a woman was not allowed to have the kind of liberties he had, nor were black people so easily accepted into the populace. That story pretty much had to be about a young white Italian man, or it would have been a different story.
I think some of it is because all of it has kind of happened before. She's more likely remembering thinng (even without realizing) than learning them.
I'm dying to know if "Legend of Sanctuary" is any good.
Flaying Flappy Birds :P
I have to admit I really enjoyed the small (and some times not so small) nods to popular games. "OBJECTION!" indeed :D
I really liked this one, too. The two main characters are genuinely smart, and they win through (usually) well thought and believable strategies. The world building aspect of the story is great, and the art is really beautiful.
Ok, this isn't a "the glass is half full" article... It's a "the glass is so full it's spilling water and everyone in the room is drowing" article.

I disagree with harsher punishments for dying.
Second place for me. I actually enjoyed Mekakucity Actors slightly more, just due to how out there the presentation and the story are. But it's really great to have a season with so many interesting animes (especially after winter season being somewhat of a let down).
I agree. Spoilers below!
I can judge him all I want, insert some inane comment about The First Ammendment or whatever here (no, I don't care how it's spelled, not American here).
I agree.
I would actually pay that much... If PlayStation Now allowed me to play PS2 and PS3 exclusive games in my PC. Would be worth the cost of not paying for a PS3, while still giving Sony my money.
I kinda hated The Witcher 2. You have summed up the reason in one word: "clumsy".
