Isn't the obvious question, "Why the hell aren't you doing porn and making a kabillion dollars?"

I still don't know why people try to maintain that the two films couldn't connect or be in the same universe. Did they ever, at any point say in the Batman movies that super powers didn't exist? That there was no such thing as aliens?
