You're right. Nobody who joins an organization has any right to complain about anything that happens to them as a result. They could have done more research before joining. They didn't, so fuck them and fuck their human rights.
Oh, that's right, I forgot that when you join an organization, you give them express permission to take advantage of you and violate your human rights. My bad.
Because most people don't like people who do those kinds of things. See his movies all you want, but to chalk up the hate to "he's weird and maybe a bad husband" is to totally miss the point of why so many people feel that way about him.
He's also the second most powerful person in a cult that consistently takes advantage and violates the human rights of its tens of thousands of members. So there's that.
