What do you intend to do with it? If it's to get in the industry as a game designer, I'd advice learning Level Design as well. It's easier to enter as a level designer and then move on to game designer.

That is indeed the most fun there is to be had with these professions but beware, specialization is something sought for in the industry. VFX artists are kind of rare, whereas modellers come by packs. Texture/material artists are also less frequent for example, and as such, they're usually more prized.

No it's not hardcore (and getting one-shotted by skilless snipers aiming at your feet doesn't stand as "the true way to play BF" for me...), and seriously, why are you still arguing? Try it. In normal mode.

I was talking for myself of course.

Unfortunately DMRs are largely underpowered and will not perform as well as most automatic rifles in their ranges. As for longer ranges bolt action snipers will overpower them.

To be fair, they are still kinda bad... In fact they're asshats for shipping a rushed buggy game out just to get out a few days before CoD.

Oh yea that'll solve everything. Pirate the games. Woohoo ! Because the only people you're hurting anyway are those big bad execs who entirely made those games happen ! right?

Oh don't give me that car company BS. Making a car and making a game are NOTHING alike, and you should know that, if you're any bit a gamer.

30 rounds ^^

CZ-3A1 in BF4 for me. It just feels great to send 31 bullets in under 2 seconds to wipe a room full of enemies.
I almost feel bad for using it... almost. In the end I don't because it's a somewhat hard gun to master.

I think he was using slugs... that or cheating. You can't one shot kill with buckshot at 50m unless your target was already low on health.
However if he was using slugs instead of buckshot, that might have been possible. Slugs are a specific kind of ammo that greatly increase the range of any shotgun you use it with at

ACE 52 really is a beast. Those 3 hit kills can be crazy close up. If you play engi, try the UMP-45 for a similar feel, although the range at which it's effective is inferior.

Little trick that I see many people don't know in BF is that you can turn off flashlights and laser sights with the "T" key by default. It's the difference between life and death and the reason I don't use laser/light combos (because you can't turn them off). Running a laser sight is definitely worth it; it might save

Removed the kill trading, fixed (nerfed) the SUAV and nerfed (fixed) the UCAV. Great patch :D

This doesn't make bullets disappear, it just makes sure that when you kill an enemy, he doesn't lag-kill you by being able to fire after being killed.

Uh... I don't know which ones you read, but BF players with half a brain never said BF was realistic... BF would not be fun if it were realistic.

Almost true, but actually when you leave a vehicle, your camo stays on until somebody else takes it and it switches to their camo ^^

The video is fun (and yea being in the skybox of a game rarely brings pretty sights : /, at least in source engine games, you get to be a frikkin giant for the rest of the guys in the map :D).

Go near a rock in Arma 3. Go and check the ground near trees, or just go inside a house. Yes their textures are hyper-rez, but the realisation is just OK. That's the difference between having whole teams of artists and just a few here and there working on a huge world.

I dunno who are the geniuses who took the battlelog from late BF3 (read, right before BF4 came out) and said:
