@Deanb: Sort of like a ton of 360 games got ruined after launch because people were tilting the 360s back and forth to see the ring of light change?

@shkm: Oh I've come close. Hit the button, spin like a ballerina and face plant back into the mattress. But I won't fall asleep. I've really worked to keep a disciplined sleep schedule so I can wake up when I want. I've always been a pretty normal sleeper though, if there is such a thing.

@Ryan Goldstein: This sounds interesting. I've experimented with different sleeping schedules such as the uberman and the everyman, and have really become interested in the stages of sleep as a result. It'd be nice to have a tool to help me get a handle on how my specific sleep cycles work.

I finally put my alarm clock across the bedroom so I can't hit snooze. I have to stand up to get to it now. Not only do I waste time in the morning hitting snooze, I wake up feeling much better than if I had hit snooze 3 times.

@Pixel Breaker: At least if you're in America you can just get the Dr. Pepper points to "purchase" this DLC.

So I installed it, and the first place I went is LifeHacker. It told me I was being 84% unproductive after 5 minutes and I was 64% more productive than others out there. WTF? Is the web really that unproductive of a place?

@Barlowe: No kidding. I enjoy it, and actually did purchase my two supers, but I was tired of having to spend $3 a week just to keep competitive when something new came out.

I remember buying Ultima III for the C64 and getting this absolutely bitchin' cloth map (pictured above, but it doesn't do it justice), a couple of separate spell books and a really thick manual. I'd have to say it's the best package I've ever gotten with a game.

@Vajesticles: I'm not positive that the bad lobbies are back, but the MP impressions from above lead me to believe so. You can't just launch a 1vs1 game in a 16 player (or whatever it is) room if it's a matchmaking-enabled game.

@Alvarez: It's because Houston is a shit hole.

@Sabre_Justice: Okay, no more long name.: I saw a copy of the first Crackdown for $9.99 at "The Sevs", was excited and bought it. There was another game there that I thought about buying, but passed. Since then I've seen a couple of games I've wanted to buy. Personally, I'm pretty excited about this deal.

@Vajesticles: Your reasons are exactly why I didn't buy it, and I loved the MP demo. I can't believe they're still doing lobbies circa 2001 still though. That's a deal breaker in any MP game.

Now playing

@infinitezero: Really? The video I posted looks better than the one in the original story? I'm not saying they look eye popping and truly special, but they do not look worse than Crackdown 1.

@Kenny: Mmmmm, I love colons!: Apple Kool-Aid or not, they scooped the entire industry on it. As in Gizmodo was the first to show the world what the new iPhone looked like. It's a hell of a coup IMO, and they should be touting it to the heavens.

@CaliCheeseSucks: I'll purchase it over UFC2010 if the fighting doesn't look as robotic and offers more branches of moves. UFC2009 really bugged me, even though I enjoyed it, because they looked so animatronic and the really skimped on the submissions. Where's the oomaplata? Where's the all of the leg locks and toe

@bitslammer: You'll be disappointed. WMP12 is no replacement for PS3MS when streaming video. Maybe for audio it's better, I don't use PS3MS for audio.

I played with WMP12 a bit, but it's library database would continually corrupt itself. I'd have to delete the .db and rescan the library any time anything was added. Royal pain, so I quit using it. I wonder if they've fixed that issue yet, as I've found tons of internet complaints about it.

@ToastyUterus: I also really, really like Shadowrun. If the fanboys had only shut up for a minute and gave it a fair shake they would have found an excellent FPS. It's biggest flaws are that aren't enough maps and the matchmaking splits up parties for the first game.
