I was pretty neutral about him until he commentated the Street Fighter Grand Finals at Evo, the largest fighting game tournament in the world. He thought the matches were four rounds, he had no knowledge of the game, and he pretty much failed out of the gate. Maybe it would be forgivable, but it was blatantly

You don't need to die to use a burn card at the start of the game. You can just choose one before you first spawn.

Welcome to being old, population you. If it makes you feel better I really enjoy telling my son that I had to wait for a magazine to come out with the solution to a game I was stuck in.

You can use the controller on a PC if you have a CronusMax adapter.

I wasn't thrilled with the bumper buttons either, but after a couple of hours with them you won't know the difference. And if you do notice a difference it will be because they're easier to press once you get used to the controller.

MS (I think it was some community director that Major Nelson was inteverviewing) said that's still coming. He said they wanted to make sure it was "Absolutely right". It's not much solace and there's no firm date, but it will be there eventually.

Now I have a lot of love for the original RPG, but the FPS Shadowrun on 360 got an extremely unfair shake. It was a wonderfully balanced team shooter that rewarded teamwork and and tactics over aggression. The movement the FPS boasted is in the same vein as what people are going crazy over with Titanfall. Three

It's very little solace since they haven't updated the sound options, but you can definitely buy a headset adapter on eBay. Mine cost me $20 including shipping and a $3 3"2.5mm male on both ends from Amazon. I had to ship him my headset (shipping cost=$5) and wait two weeks, but I now have a fully functional TB XP400

I hate to break it to you, but this has been available for a long time. I played Halo 2 on the original Xbox with KB/M. I can also tell you that since it wasn't designed to do this with aim assist and whatnot it was actually much harder to use than a controller. Aiming might have been a little easier, but the

And my disappointment is complete. In between my last post and this I've gotten my XBone and played KI. I just can't play on pad, it's horrible. But with the console, charge cable, a single game and tax I'm at $700+ dollars. I don't want to shell out another $200 for a fight stick that isn't even cross-platform.

I'm also pretty excited about what the can do with it. But they do need to fix some things with the UI before anything. I hate that I can't adjust the volume of a game when I'm talking in a party chat. There needs to be a master mixer for all sound. I believe another Kotaku article cried foul on this same issue

I completely agree, I have two TEs, and a Qanba Q4 that I absolutely love that will now be relegated to my office for lunch time battles. It seems a little ridiculous to just toss close to $600 in controllers aside.

This is through the Xbone optical out only. If your TV has an optical out just plug the HDMI to the TV and the headset to the Optical out on your TV. Issue worked around. I've actually used my 360 and my XP400 for a couple of years this way.

I used to come here for the comments, as it was one of the few sites that didn't have depressingly horrible commenting section. It's sure not the gadget stories and reviews, as Gizmodo doesn't seem to do those anymore. I like the idea of what they're trying to do with the new commenting system and am ok with losing

Yeah, those are douche glasses. Aviators are a classic style, Wraparounds are something you wear with a mullet and zuffa pants. You can't tell me the guy in the picture doesn't own a pair of Oakley neon razors.

Yeah, I find that if they're expensive glasses I'll be more concerned with where they are and won't lose them. I've had them for 5 years now, when a pair of cheapys might last me 6 months.

Yeah, I've sat on mine multiple times while they were in my jacket pocket, smashing them flat. They bend right back into shape and pop the lenses back in. Incredible sunglasses.

Where can I buy that chess set? SWMBO still asks me how the knight moves when we play, this would be ideal.

As soon as I read the first line I went and found this picture. That's what I think of when I think "Bauhaus". It might be a sign of getting old though.

Weird, my mother has had sandstone coasters for like 20 years. They have felt-like backs to prevent scratching.
