Eh. I gotta disagree. The landscape is different now. The only reason Tesla has survived is simply because of investors. If other companies can do the same then that cash flow will prop up their expenditures and they can move forward quickly just as Tesla has done.

It’s still silly though, because Ford got a federal loan earlier on from the Govt.  They saw the storm coming, but jumped on it quicker before the ‘too big to fail’ rhetoric started.  Sure GM and Chrysler got TARP funds, but Ford still got credit straight from the Govt with similar strings attached. 

Tons of space? Compared to what?

I’d like to see how many people think driving a manual in stop and go traffic is better. Which (used to be at least) is what 99% of driving is for most of the population. 

The 20% is because a shit ton of offroaders are old because very few automakers have made anything BOF with decent ground clearance.

But giving you a choice a choice from a certain package means they shouldn’t bring it to market?

My actual appliances have real buttons. And they’re new. They also function the same as all of the other appliances out there and don’t try to switch things up.
