Counterpoint, if the hail is busting windshields, then driving through it is more dangerous.  And again, if you’re driving through severe weather too quickly to come to a stop if there was an accident ahead of you, that’s on you. 

I mean, this really depends on the size of the hail. Once the hail starts busting windshields, I have a hard time believing this isn’t the safest spot.

You do make some good points. Its funny that this sort of thing tends to get more notice than massively lifted trucks which are arguably more dangerous for everyone, but tend to be driven almost exclusively by white men.

Personally the only ones that really irk me are the ones that don’t actually describe the why of what they’re doing. Also most of this article talks about the manufacture of wood pellets being a primary issue for urban areas.
