Eh, I have a feeling they likely have a motor at each wheel. If each motor is making 400 lb-ft of torque, that’s 1,200. 10:1 gear reduction would do the trick.

It depends. I’m not a fan of the convertible ones. The yellow ones are especially atrocious.
