That was pretty much what I was getting at. I speaking to the fact that if you call one game pointless, you're pretty much calling all of them pointless. For instance, I don't enjoy playing nor watching sports, it has simply never been something that has appealed to me. I do, however, like you said, understand that

Ah, understandable. I actually enjoy creating games more than I do playing them, which is probably why Minecraft appeals to me so much. When I'm working on a level in my current project, I have freedom to create whatever I want, to shape the experience of those that play it. Minecraft is essentially the same, though

Yes, very much so. I've had it installed for a while now, it looks quite nice.

Aren't all games a bit pointless? Sure, we get caught up in their stories and attached to their characters, but in the end, they're still games. The appeal of Minecraft, to me at least, is the virtually unlimited freedom that is presented to the player.

If you're talking about the animations on the leaves and other foliage, that's a separate mod, and it appears to be lagging terribly for whoever recorded it.

I've played ME a ridiculous amount of times, so I know challenging just fine.

My main problem with the game (ignoring the ending) is simply the fact that if you look at it compared to ME, all of the RPG components are pretty much gone. Sure, the organizational components weren't the best in the original, but still, it evolved into more of an action game vs. an RPG. I don't necessarily have a

Thanks for the extensive response, I always enjoy seeing the other side of the coin. Anyways, as far as combat goes, I play as 100% adept with only occasional pistol usage when necessary, so I wasn't exposed to those issues. The Biotics worked well, so for me, the combat was fine. That being said, just like in ME2

Certainly didn't nerdrage, and he certainly didn't point anything out point by point. ME3 was approaching my favorite of the series until the ending. Nothing really made me feel it was terrible. Some really annoying (but challenging, which is a plus) enemy types, but nothing to get angry about.

The rest of the game sucked as well? Really? There are very few moments in gaming that have moved me as much as (and just to name a couple) the Presidium shooting scene with Garrus and the triumph of Grunt.

Also removes the level cap, which is a welcome addition.

This! Please do this! This is one of the tiny details in the original Crysis that really stood out to me - setting the game to "Korean voices" made the game so much more immersive. Of course, your fellow soldiers would still talk to you in English, but the Koreans you were up against would talk among themselves in

Did you do all of the side objectives? Did you take a stealthy approach or engage in firefights? Both can change playtime pretty drastically.

Ah, I didn't play multiplayer in the second for more than an hour or so. Just never got into it.

What bugs me is the varying length throughout the series. The original was much longer, at least for me. I spent around 15 hours or so in the original, always finding a good, sneaky route to take. I even spent 9 hours (maybe 10, not sure) playing Crysis 2's campaign.

On PC, I would say holding down one of the mouse buttons and moving the mouse across the screen to move your lightsaber would work pretty well. When in this lightsaber moving mode, having the camera lock onto your opponent would probably be best, that way you can focus fully on your swings/parries instead of

Noticed that you forgot to add an "in my opinion" at the end there. Because, you know, not everybody shares that opinion.

Errr, you definitely play as Laurence "Prophet" Barnes in Crysis 3, not Alcatraz. Granted Alcatraz's corpse is still inside the suit, but Prophet is the one in control.

I have to doubt the rain collides with the crates. The crates probably just have a shader applied over top to give the appearance that they're wet/dripping/other fanciness.

That's why I'm excited for Watch Dogs. What they've showed of Chicago so far just seems so alive.
