I think Melo might actually be a better option (not saying much)—-at least he’s got a chip on his shoulder and will give an effort.

Somebody should have informed them that
IT’S FRIIIIDAY. Gonna check Deadspin! Oh I see Ley posted something with animals involved and...
See? Assault rifles ARE needed! The 30 hog guy wasn’t full of shit!
“compared to his teammates who are currently playing in a 13-7 deficit to the worst team in the conference”
Baseball does not have conferences
Oh, those bumbling Dodgers!
Hush...as a Californian, I love hearing these outrageously uninformed speculations about how Arizona is going to become beachfront property. I just act like I’ve never heard it before and say “...you don’t say; tell me more...”. It’s like listening to a child trying to explain how planes fly...it’s just so adorable!
The red was part of your pre-programming- I've already said too much
You know California will not actually ever sink into the ocean right? The two shifting plates in CA don't go in opposing directions with one headed out to sea.
As a fan, it’s title or bust. This is a better team than the prior two years (the ascension of Bellinger, Ryu, and Buehler; improved strikeout and RISP rates on offense) and have enough to win.
Is this an unwritten baseball rule? Are you and Lauren going to brawl over it?
It would never be that bad for us, even if we HAPPEN to lose against the Yankees this year and possibly the Astros ( again, preferably in 7 ) next year for good measure. We would move onto one of the millions of other great things to do in our fine city( tacos, the beach, complain about hipsters/housing shortages,…
Not sure about that; this story is about Kershaw finding a different way to dominate in 2019. Keuchel had *a* strong start last night but has been wholly mediocre so far in 11 starts (4.39 ERA/4.79 FIP) as he’s still trying to play catch up rounding into form.
Maybe, but Kershaw’s performance last night is a strong example of how he’s successfully adjusted his style over the past two years, while Keuchel's night was a (perhaps brief) return to form as he struggles to find himself after being dicked around by MLB for half the season.
Good for Kersh. I thought he was just about done (I predicted the same for Verlander after his Detroit decline), but he just relies more on the breaking pitches; which is fine, because that curveball defies gravity. He deserves a WS title more than anyone in the league. He’s one of the rare generational talents that…
Clayton Kershaw is a finely tuned athlete, arguably the best lefty of his generation, and a certain hall of famer.
Democratic Think Tank Member: Bernie Sanders is a blowhard with no notable accomplishments to his name.
Admittedly it does lack the spartan adherence to ethics of the Sanders/Sirota approach— having a columnist write positive stories on your campaignfor months prior to bringing then on board formally as a speech writer.
I feel like, similar to school dress codes(a personal pet-peeve), any list of rules set out by a small group of people that will affect a larger group of people needs to state, explicitly, why each rule is in place.
Remember how conservatives treated John Kerry? Or whose side they’re on in the Trump/McCain spats? Shows how much they actually care about the troops. Also, they don’t seem to have trouble sending their beloved troops to fight in pointless wars.
