We just watched the Season 1 finale, then moved on to Season 2. Seemed to fill in enough gaps so we didn’t feel lost moving forward. (We gave up on LoT early in S1, too.)

I believe it’s just artistic license, given the dimmed light in the hospital room. I haven’t seen any indication in the comics that Jennifer’s actually been changed. Note that in the Hellcat panel, she’s still green as always.
