That is all.

At my Houston high school, when I was a sophomore, two self-avowed Nazi students beat a Latinx student into a coma (for the full details, read about it here). These were kids who wore Nazi clothing, had Nazi articles on campus, were known Nazis. It just happened, the same way confederate flag t-shirts happened and

Sadly you are correct. At the CDA meeting a woman was in tears as she talked about her 9 year old sons’a Cystic Fibrosis and how the AHCA was essentially a death sentence for him.

There’s two pervasive, infuriatingly romanticized, ideas in the popular consciousness that devalue creative work:

Bonus: the AHCA abomination removes the requirement that any employer provide health insurance for employees, so it doesn’t even matter if you take that corporate desk job.

What I don’t get is that the same instability is found in the income of entrepreneurs. Aren’t republicans supposed to be all about starting a business and innovating? It is tough to do when you know your exposing yourself and your kids to massive medical and financial risk.

It’s crazy. Everyone appreciates the work of artistic people in one form or another. Everyone consumes some for of entertainment that required at least some creative input, even if it’s just watching tv. They consume products that required a designer every day.

If that’s how they feel about freelancers, imagine how they must feel about Stay At Home Moms or *shudder* Dads.

“I was trying to explain that all hospitals are required by law to treat patients in need of emergency care regardless of their ability to pay and that the Republican plan does not change that,”

Probably depressing to realize you are just an object to your husband, and he will go out and pick up a newer model the minute you stop being fun.

I also loved how the TV show didn’t shy away from showing how Sam’s reactions aren’t always the right one, and how Coco playing the system wasn’t bad. Especially with the town hall and her actions there, as well as putting things together and really making a plan for the future.

I’m sure you didn’t love Jebus enough.

My dad has recurring kidney stones too; I bet it’s because he’s the household cook. Clearly he’s trying to rip apart the foundation of the American family unit.

Damn us and our Kidneys!!! Always trying to be cool and get pierced by calcium oxalate before the other kidneys. It’s our renal systems fault for succumbing to peer pressure.

I dunno. Pierce Brosnan is stupid crazy in love with his wife. She use to be a model, but now she’s a built-for-comfort middle-aged woman.

Most normal couples I know fall out of love, I don’t think fame changes that aspect besides giving them more options.

I know. I would love to be the abortion (and IUD and BC and well woman exam) fairy.

Yeah, deep tissue massage is like a genteel form of torture. SO painful, then so lethargic, then so great.

I think they are one of the only ones on HGTV to never feature any gay couples on the show. I know that the show is located in Waco, Tx, but I’m sure there are gay people there. Either way, I agree with you. Just come out and say “yes, we believe in what the Bible says about homosexuality (which isn’t much), or “yes

I never had much patience for these two but the fact that they belong to an anti-lgbt church has made them even more unlikeable. They need to go away.
