And this is exactly why she is one of my heroes. I believe she has a similar style to her writing. She's so upfront and that makes her work so in your face and I LOVE IT.
That's kinda her MO—telling the truth and not caring if it's palatable, I mean. She's pretty awesome.
I don't think Jezebel has been trying to paint her as a saint or without flaws. More like normal and a cautionary tale of what could happen to any of us in this situation if we don't, as you say, "lawyer the fuck up."
