Who buys the V6 anyway ? The TDI or the 1.8T are the best engines by far offered on this car.

I just back-to-backed a Mk6 Golf R and a Mk7 GTI. The GTI was just a better car. Rode better, handled better, more economical, better interior (in terms of packaging and functionality and ergonomics, pretty much a draw in interior quality). The Mk7's infotainment is superior. The GTI has more torque and is geared…
I couldn't disagree more. I thought it was amazingly well put together. As well as my B6/7/8 Audi's I've owned anyway. Seriously considering the car at this point.
I had the complete opposite experience. The car felt far more put together and planted than even the MKVI GTI, and that says a lot. Perhaps you drove the GOLF?
Oh Asus. Never change. Keep coming up with the most batshit ideas. They make life so much more interesting.
Illinois, just based solely on the road conditions. We have one of the highest income taxes in the country, we have the highest sales taxes, and a bunch of other stupid taxes, yet our infrastructure is somehow crumbling every single year, even though construction is literally non stop on the roads. In addition to that…

That is pure lust right there. #woulddragon
I love the Golf and we always have at least one in some form or other in the driveway. Frankly, I'm also confused as to why more people don't buy them here, they're great family cars and a pleasure to drive. Currently we're running a pair, one R and one TDI, they'll likely be replaced by a Golf TDI wagon and the new R…
Here's Your APR:
Let's see.. GM recalls almost 7 million vehicles as of April 1st... Chrysler recalls 870k SUVs 4/2/14... Toyota recalls 6.4 million vehicles 4/9/14... BMW recalls 156,000 vehicles 4/13/14... By contrast, VW's 26,000 vehicle recall almost seems irrelevant, yet the "Volkswagens are crummy cars" thing perpetuates.
I graduated from this high school and let me assure you that the graduation dress code is the least of this community's worries. What the article does not mention is that Wheaton has more churches per capita square mile than any other city in America, and at Wheaton North the social hierarchy is determined by which…
We can ridicule VW for its styling all we like. And yes, its not new. But does it make it bad? One thing I liked about VW was that they don't keep changing their exterior ever few years like many others (looking at you GM and ford) but build upon generations of solid, well thought-out designs. The Jetta is still a…

Dear VW,
Here's the whole article, many more nice photos and well written. http://www.thiseuropeanlife.com/2012/01/merced…
The Autobahn has been under attack for decades now, and now German reader Mark Linde explains why hating Justin…
If only they had a new diesel coming out soon…
The resolution would be for OKCupid to stop acting like a petulant child and not block people simply because those people might not actively oppose the same things that OKCupid does. Not defending the stance that Eich takes, but OKCupid could have had the opportunity to take the high ground here and not judge people…
Headlight/taillight requirements that aren't flexible enough so that automakers can offer safer technology.
