As a home brewer who cleans a LOT of bottles I can also recommend, OxyClean. Which is basically Washing Soda mixed with Hydrogen Peroxide. Cleans while it's soaking. Oxi-Clean is the king of label removal. I have done thousands of bottles with it. I used to batches in 60 gallon barrels. Labels slide off in one piece and usually leave no residue at all.
Have you ever heard of Optimum rinseless car wash, with a couple of five gallon buckets, lots of microfiber and a few ounces of Optimum, I can make my car incredibly clean. The secret is not to allow any grit on the towels.
