Can’t take that I blurred the image or that the plate is not centered on the bumper? Ha. It is mounted in the tow hook hole so there are no holed drilled in my bumper. This position blocks less of the intercooler as well.

My Performance Pack approves of your decision.

De Dion tube suspensions come to mind.

Groupthink is a bitch.

Those people who “just don’t get it” have never owned or driven one.

Agree 100%. My girlfriend seriously takes a back seat to my car.

What’s the crash test safety rating now?

Only if I lost all self respect and suddenly came down with a case of Benjamin Button syndrome.

there's no DSG option except on the GTI/GTD/R,

Please do something about Truck and SUV halogen headlamps blinding the shit out of every person in a smaller cars when they pull up behind them. These headlights somehow manage to blast me in the face via both side mirrors AND the rear view simultaneously when pulled up behind me.

At least here in America.

VWs or GTFO!

Yeah, I learned all about VW maintenance the hard way with my MK4 VR6. Fortunately I am a more than capable mechanic and did all the repairs myself. I will keep the Mk7 a few years past warranty but I have no reason to believe it will have anywhere near the magnitude of issues as my 14yo Jetta. All out of warranty

I just purchased an new VW and took the maintenance plan. 3 years free regular maintenance(oil changes, tire rotations, etc) for $150. Consider the cost of a full synthetic oil change alone, this plan is saving me money. I also took the protection plan(free rim repair, paintless dent removal, windshield

NP but only because you said bukkake.

Haha the beetle is still a fantastic car no doubt. After 5 months of waiting I finally got my 4-door SE PP and I could not be more pleased. The biggest surprise has been how ridiculously awesome the VAQ diff is. It just hunkers down and drags the car car through the inside of the turn. And this is in cold crappy

The most substantial differences being the use of Audi valvelift on the exhaust cam and the exhaust manifold being integrated into the head. The turbo bolts right to the head now. No more exhaust manifold. All the turbo stuff you mentioned above too.

Not the same motor. The MQB chassis cars (MK7 and A3) have a very different EA888 Gen 3(both 1.8T and 2.0T) than is found in the MK6 Jetta GLI and Beetle Turbo. They really should have just called it the EA888 Gen 4.
