Let me start by saying Porsche has a long and often-overlooked history as an F1 engine manufacturer. The company powered two constructor's championships and three diver's championships in the 80s with over two dozen wins to their name.

Oh, baby. Reminds me of the contrast between the Carrera and the Cayman. LWB supercars ftw

You're right. Nice to know someone saw where I went wrong. Blame that it was home time and I wasn't concentrating.

Okay, derped hugely. Had SQ7 (which is of course not... out... yet?) in my head.

It's still soft-roading...

All of these replies, shhh. We don't want them to change it. British sports car inspiration is a winner. They can keep doing that. Maybe we'll get some of the promised cars that never were.

Theory: They DID use all their budget on the WRX, but now that that has been a hit (for Subaru), they're using the money made on the Saloon to make a Hatch that handles as well.

Got to admit, this would make my day more than scare me.

This, however......

Y'know what? This ain't half bad.

Aye, but Colin wasn't a douchebag like KB. Not met Pastrana so won't comment. The man was a scot so had a temper, but the guy was there for everyone and anyone most days. I think thats what set him so far apart. That and being a Brit/Scot who won something.

Agreed, he was all-0r-nothing, calling him an asshole is undeserved imo. When he crashed, he owned up, as far as I know, And his luck/skill/media presence obviously outweighed any downsides as seen by how long Subaru and Ford kept him on the books.

RIP that man and his boy, as well as his friend. The world lost a great few men that day.

Those painted "Slow!" signs are on the road for a reason. Rookie mistake.

I wonder if they're aiming it more for a boat.... seems legit.

I hate to be the one to point this out, but I think this glider's had it's wings clipped slightly.....

If a Corvette Grand Sport can be a rally car, so can a C5 that has seen better days. It might oversteer way too often to be truly successful, but lap times are for nerds anyway.

You mean triple cheque, because the bank doesn't believe that you're going to be spending that much in one go.

I don't have a problem with this, honestly.

Customers were promised a car with a naturally-aspirated V12, all-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, and a top speed of 220 MPH. What they got was a rear-wheel-drive car with a twin-turbo V6 that could only muster 210 MPH. It was the fastest car in the world, until the McLaren F1 slaughtered it.
