We need to wait for Skay's opinion.
This is exactly what I had in mind! Thanks for a picture source :)
Not really. Pop-up headlights are pop-up headlights no matter how high they "pop."
Ehhh, I see what you mean, but it doesn't have the same effect.
I have seen/heard word of, basically lazy-eye conversions on 2nd gen MR-2's using generic projector headlamps. I have a couple in my shed because I was going to fit them to my Ibiza...
I wonder what a modern interpretation of pop-up headlights would look like, with LED and projector headlamps, they potentially could be made "Pedestrian-safe." This would have to be on an enthusiast car, of course.
They served a purpose and made no harm. Just ask this guy!
This arch gap and ride height will NEVER make it to production.
I see your point, but I'd rather have this. The F40 only looks perfect in red in my opinion, whereas this doesn't have that badge, so you can throw anything on it and it'll look respectable.
I was primarily talking about the looks rather than performance, but both are completely subjective. I've loved the design of McLaren road cars the whole time. Giving it stupid performance AND a Gulf livery can only serve to make it better.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this car. The rest of the world should just give up because nothing is ever going to beat it.
Yup. Hence my opinon. Personal preference, I'd rather be putting all that noise and tyre into going somewhere rather than making smoke.
Okay, so I do actually feel for this guy. Did everything right (safe place, special wheels, even has the crowd) and just got it a bit wrong in that one moment. Props to him for holding it in and still putting on a show once he knew the thing was still in one piece.
Not even the slightest bit mad. That's some skills right there.
Yup! On all counts. Now home with time on my hands, it's plane (get it) to see how far off the mark I was.
Okay, I was following the trend of "aircraft that owners of these cars might possibly own," but who the hell decided that parking a 3 series next to a [[Beluga?]] would send a good message to prospective buyers? xD
While illegal and dangerous, there's a small child in me that would get a kick out of doing this to dead tyres for fun (not to be used, but just to do it)
Yup.
Come to think of it, I can’t explain Formula One, what madness made me assume I could! I remain unconvinced it is unexplainable: F1 is part metaphor for the human condition; part theatre for yesterday’s capitalism. Lost in translation, lost in itself. Perfectly funked-up.
