I realize it was sarcasm. But for the sarcasm to work, there needs to be a culture of tailgating, which is stupid. I facepalmed at the latter 'understanding' that rendered the sarcasm functional.

Ah, alright then. I've never heard of it before, hence my skepticism. Is it a US thing, or just something I've not heard of, being from a country where 'snow' is something much promised and never delivered.
If you're in snow and ice and you're running your engine, check that your tailpipe hasn't gotten blocked. If it is, clear the snow and ice out. Otherwise, carbon monoxide can leak back into the car and kill you. It's a very simple check with very grave consequences.

It IS a mid-size car. It competes with the Leon, Focus, Megane, and it's ilk. It's not a city car.
While the Ford Ka was popular among young men, the Renault Twingo found is way to female hearts. Easy to see why. It's very practical, simple to use and comes with a cute face. A great design indeed.
