Isn’t the English the original since the game is made by an American studio, while Japanese is the actual dub? And what if they cast voice actors who could speak Japanese-accented English on purpose?
I play games without subtitles because I end up reading them instead of listening and I like to feel more immersed, but this is pretty cool for those who use subs anyway.

Honest question: When does “cosplay” become “paid models posing for extremely specific photographs”? I see what I consider a ton of the latter in photos taken at cons, but I’m curious as to whether the community sees a difference, or cares.

Just because the games remade, that doesn’t automatically mean the game should be devoid of it’s original contents. Changing the way the characters look takes away a lot of the ability for people to enjoy the game for the prime reason it’s been made, nostalgia.
It’s been known since the DLC from the first game though, this isn’t some revolution that’s happening tonight.

So they basically threw out everything from the franchise and made The Witcher 3 in Greece. Okay thats an awesome idea and I love it. Carry on Ubisoft.
