I'll just leave this here, because I completely agree with Patrick's assertion.

America isn't about being pretty; it's about being dominant.

Yay! Proving Patrick wrong photo dump!

Stopping in the middle of a high-speed roadway is one of the most dangerous things you can do in a car.

Now playing

That's nice but nothing beats a Kranky burnout.

There's racing outside of rally?

What this QOTD has basically become:

Ford has a pretty Strong Case. From LeMans (GT40) To NASCAR, to Rally (RS200 drool), To F1 (engine Supplier with Cosworth), to IndyCar (Engine Supplier as well) to Drag Racing (427 SOHC aka the "Cammer" badass engine banned from NASCAR).

Ford, they've raced since Henry Ford was developing his 1st car. They've raced everywhere they've built cars, and they've built and still build full on race cars you can buy and privateer.

Ford goes pretty far back having created "race" cars as early as 1901. The picture shows a 1903 "999" with an 18.9l four cylinder with about 100hp.

Number 1 has to be Ford. I can't think of one type of racing that try haven't had a part if from the beginning. Drag racing to Baja, leMans to Daytona. Not only do they participate but they flat out win too.

Ford.

It's got to be Ford. Try naming a racing series that Ford hasn't had some level of success in at some time in its history.

F1 needs to place less focus on fuel and tire savings, and more focus on RACING. Phony sparks won't do the trick.

Annnnnnnnnd THIS kinda shit is what bugs me about F1 these days. It used to be the sparks were a natural by product of the cars bottoming out in places. It wasn't planned or invents. It just happened and that was as cool as it can get! To intentionally put shit on the cars to make them spark is so fucking lame its

They need to stop trying to artificially replicate what once made F1 so exciting to watch and let the teams actually push the boundaries of what's possible again. I have little sympathy for the smaller teams that can't afford to innovate, just get rid of them and let the big boys play. Just think of all the crazy

Either a new Z/28 or the ZL1 should grab plenty of attention.

I know you said plausible.. buuut.. I'd say given its roots in the V10 pedigree, I think it deserves the title of a classic.

Also, gotta bring a Z06
