For lodging I like The Super 8 at 12th street and 35. It looks sketch but it’s safe and walking distance to Erwin Center, Mohawk, Stubb’s, Franklin’s, The White Horse, Scoot Inn, etc. And they have USB outlets so no need to bring a charging cube. I’ve also had a very nice stays at the Hampton at 12th & San Jacinto.
