I live in Dallas and a few years back, saw Brett and his wife in a local Tex-Mex place. Went up to them and said, “Mr. Hull, just want you to know I’m a big fan of your dad and uncle and I used to love watching them when I was a kid.” I like to think he was a bit deflated, as he simply shook his head and laughed.

Hockey novice here (I only watch playoff hockey). It seems to me the Pens could, especially if Sissons is out for game 6, amp up the nastiness and try to get the preds to take stupid penalties. Is that sound strategy or should they just stick to being kickass?  

Kap made a social statement and protested on company time and company property. I have no problem with what he did and had at least one social media argument with a beloved family member over my stance. But now he’s paying the price, freedom of expression is not without consequence, and it seems others are taking it…

So now you know me? I could rant forever on this. Some do, some watch. We’re not all the same. Those that do sometimes shake their fist at the clouds over those who watch. It’s momentary rage over a tragedy that could have been stopped.       

Umm, maybe try to remove the guy laying on the back of the other guy grunting and crying in pain. Get involved and try to help, instead of record, someone in distress.

I’m sure the family of Mr Hernandez are grateful to have a video of his death.

Strong points. No one who follows NFL more than casually should be surprised by this. Offenses, and by extension, QBs, have the advantage of rules that encourage scoring. That alone would make D players pissy about the way QBs are fawned over, protected, compensated, etc.
