Most places (around me anyway) have signs up that say "No MSG Used". I have tried to find well documented evidence for both sides of the argument and cant seem to find much. If you add too much MSG to something it will taste really bad.

Seriously! I made some pho the other day and picked up a packet at the market. I sprinkled a little into the broth and the difference was insane. The "science" behind why it is bad for you is sketchy at best.

I think it is worth pointing out that some companies match 401k contributions, making it "free" money. Do the math and find out if it is worth investing early or if you company does this sort of thing.
