Cue Sarah McLachlan song and slide show of sad looking GOP members.

I think it is worth pointing out that some companies match 401k contributions, making it "free" money. Do the math and find out if it is worth investing early or if you company does this sort of thing.

I was told this by a police officer in San Diego. Currently in OH, which has some fantastic highway cops *sarcasm*. In OH you can show proof of insurance after the fact as well (within a reasonable period of time). NJ seems to be messed up in general, I have colleagues that live there and complain about it constantly.

Nope, I only mention it because a police officer I once knew mentioned it as one of the various reason they can pull you over. His words were "You can pretty pull anyone on the road over if you wanted to...". It is really just dumb, you see hundreds of jackasses on the road daily, but then you get pulled over for

275 just feels like a speed trap wherever you are

Any of those river crossings would suck to get pulled over on.

I was under the impression that most states have that law.

I haven't heard about anyone that got pulled over in OH for that, but I have heard about people in KY that have been pulled over for it.

The real reason behind the discrepancy is that Foxconn, in order to keep up with manufacturing demand, revolutionized the way modern manufacturing is done. They are now a multi-universe employer. The upside: they can pump out any number of phones (except gold for some reason), the downside: Universe-B is 3 degrees

For 7k that better be a California King Kong (2 California Kings stitched together with gorilla leather)

I don't think the NSA cares if your milk goes bad or how many eggs you have left, but then again, I could be wrong...

I can tell you one thing. Giving money to god will not help your finances. Unless that god is Offler the crocodile god (terrible Discworld reference).

Jealous

Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired.

Doubtful, but same target markets

If you can put utilities (internet, cell phone, gas, electric, water) on a credit card that you immediately pay off every month, why would you not want to earn rewards? This would boost your Credit Score (potentially) and earn you many different rewards that you can use. Spending just to get rewards is foolish, but

The reasoning behind that fee is to keep your card in an active state OR to send you a new card which costs them money. My company sends a letter when your card is about to have a reduction in credit line due to inactivity.

Debt to income ratio is weighted quite highly on your Credit Score.
