Most of the time I hear people using the phrase, it’s for people trying to better their image rather than their skills. It’s usually people who make the same mistakes over and over.

I noticed a persistent 5-10ms hitch in most games. Turning on Game Mode eliminated that hitch. So, I’m totally sold on the effectiveness of that button. Now, I can play pinball smoothly and not die from nausea in VR.
Anyone get the feeling Rockstar is tired of supporting GTA Online and will just keep pushing the limits to see what they can get away with?
Hypothesis.
With respect, I think children’s movie plots came a long way since the first Toy Story. These days, I bet Pixar regrets making buzz fly.
Yeah, I don’t screw with players unless they screw with me. Dying is cheap and my ego is not so easily bruised. I just play my part, hunt bounties, and generally act like a professional criminal with a little effing class.
Through all the posturing, I can see the begrudging respect for them. IF they pull this off in production scale.
I have one word to say:
While I see improvement, one of my Xbone controllers has trouble registering the right side without a more concerted press beyond the tactile click. I am actually a little disappointed. Hopefully, this “quality controller” will have better quality control.
Water saturation and leading edge calculations shouldn’t be difficult. Just implement a saturation map over surfaces. Darken materials as their map gets covered according to the materials permeability and maximum saturation values, and draw a visible leading-edge meniscus when the saturation map gets darkened the…
I’m in the same boat, but on the AMD side. my 7970 is brought to it’s knees, which is a shame because I have 144HZ monitor that would do this game such justice.
What KJU thinks he looks like:
Seriously, look at the reviews on Amazon. 1,299 five-stars to 217 one-stars. I think it's time to review-bomb this turd.
No. Video games are too long AND too expensive for how little time I have to dedicate to them. If they cost a quarter what they cost for the fourth of a game I can usually get through, then we wouldn't have this discussion. I'm on the verge of not buying new games for this reason.
Or.... OR... we can support quality remakes of quality games instead of taking the most pessimistic route.
The hard thing about the real world is that there isn't a controller for it. You can't just move people around with your super strength, or jump over things if they're in your way. The real world is a game you spend your entire life trying to master — and probably never will. It's full of heartbreak and triumph and…
I like to listen to Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, where Burbank is a regular panelist, along with Paula Poundstone. She recently weighed in on the acquisition as well, talking about how much she hates games and hates how people use excuses like "eye hand coordination". Clearly, she's still stuck in the 1990's. I'm…
#5 is my #1. It's the episode I want to show my children to teach them about culture and the differences we have in common. It's the most triumphant moment to see Picard communicate clearly with the Tamarians so eloquently and he's rewarded with canonization in their language: "Picard and Dathon at El-Adrel".
I-fucking-dentical. Only contrast differences in capture.
Moral of the story: play it on the platform you have and be happy.
It takes the spirit out of the game to know that the most efficient way to play the game is also the most boring way. Kind of a big turn off to me picking up this game.
