@Shinta: I dispute that 'Chievies and Trophies are in decline. That's easy to say if you have already earned a lot of them.

Quite simply, I think GOTY is entirely an objective decision: what game did you spend the most time playing?
@CandlejackDANZA: Pseudo-intellectual debate-team troll. Ah, the Internet, how I loathe you.
@CandlejackDANZA: You're full of bullshit. Please don't breed.
@CandlejackDANZA: I'm not going to play What If with you.
@Sugoi: And what's wrong with monetizing every aspect of the company? If it works, it works. If it doesn't, it doesn't. Since Kotick is a business person, he will be judged based on the effectiveness of his decisions. He will live and die by those decisions... and we should let him.
@CandlejackDANZA: So your rebuttal amounts to "Yeah, but that was stupid."
@CandlejackDANZA: And "eye for an eye" makes the whole world blind.
@CandlejackDANZA: "Sabotaging an evil company isn't bad, it isn't amoral, and it sure as hell isn't unethical."
@Mad Black Gamer: Activision = Dicks, Gaming Community = Pussies, EA = Assholes
@Sugoi: "unfeeling business robot"
@CandlejackDANZA: All I've got to say is this: [kotaku.com]
Yes. I felt drowned by Red Dead Redemption. It also didn't help that I hate westerns and find them extremely boring. So, I couldn't even dream what they could possibly fill all that space with.
@Raziel: Brilliant.
@cruminal: That is the only position out of the two that's not a freeloading drain on the industry.
@Bruce Yail: You remind me of someone. Someone who thinks the who world should just get handed to him for free and the people whose hard work made it should just get $thefinger + benefits.
@zack10house: I think Gameloft might already be making it.
I propose a new name: Globe of Galaxymake
@CandlejackDANZA: Activision, just trying to do their job, getting sick of people who don't know the whole story...
@anduin1: It makes a big difference between grinding to level 31 to get the Claymore (and getting pulverized by it along the way) or buying it when you have the cash at any time. Trust me, it's a great change that brings more players to the table.
