Can't use dropbox on a plane, or if the school's wifi is crapping out /again/

Nice visuals, I like the Ghost in the Shell vibe.

Hmm, I was surprised, Olivia actually did a pretty good job, seems a much better fit for her style than G4

@tnasoundlug: Deus Ex is one Steam fro $10. Well worth it.

@Jack Baruth: If you know anything about cars at all, you can get a really inexpensive used car and have a reasonable expectation for how much work it will need to be reliable. Not every $500 craigslist car will be up for running a LeMons, but if you know what to look for, you get out with a reliable car for easily

@jeffro: if you actually /have/ thirty thousand liquid dollars, then yea, you can engineer a situation in which buying a new car via loan is more financially responsible than buying in cash (though that's more complicated than you imply high-return, high-security mutual funds don't exactly grow on trees) though it

@musiqrulez: I was referring more to the general principle of depreciating asset loans and the perceived normality and even 'necessity' of using loans to afford certain necessities, such as homes and cars.

The party is a lie!

I do agree that taking out a loan on a car is an idiotic idea. Even if you don't have a lot to spend, a highly reliable used car can be found for pretty much any budget with some good old fashioned legwork (or craigslist, whatever).

Inter-dimensional Parallel universe Shepherd/Shepherd team-up, calling it!

Suspiciously absent from this list:

@AndrosZ: an ignorant joke and in poor taste.

@Meat Robot, commenting apprentice: nah, ABIA has put up with SXSW and Austin City Limits for years now, plus we're close enough to DFW for overflow if it /really/ get's bad.

@grizzle: Oh pleaze, Texas isn't Arkansas, and Austin isn't Houston.

@AndrosZ: You're thinking of Waco, Austin is much more liberal than most of Texas, and about a thousand times more liberal than Waco.

So... where's episode 3?
