This is pretty much guaranteed to be better than Cloverfield because:
1) No found-footage stupidity.
2) It's Godzilla, not some idiotic sea orphan with crocodile parasites.
3) It's not directed by J. J. Abrams.
I don't get that vibe at all. If anything, I felt that the tone was reminiscent of Godzilla 1985, which was fantastic.
More open seating for the rest of us, then!
Yeah, I like the idea of Chief on a planet with no other humans. They could have even done the whole rampancy thing with Cortana, maybe she fuses with some Forerunner tech and spawns some new threat as a result. Ah, what could have been.
A better way to prevent popularizing the drug culture would be to not even include weed as a part of the "Snoopified" experience.
While I agree on most points, I still think the series could have been moved forward tactfully. Personally, I would have liked a game that investigated the origin of the flood further, but maybe that's just me. I definitely agree about the stupidity of showing actual Forerunners, I thought they were incredibly…
For the reasons I stated above, I and many others do not believe the game "sucks" at all. You're entitled to your opinion, but it's not law. Move on, champ.
What's subjective is your determination of what criteria determine the quality of a game.
Oh gosh I loved this show. There was actually a pretty cool toy line for these with swapable parts that all had unique point systems for a card game.
Your determination that it was "terrible" is every bit as much subjective as my determination that it was great. I was most impressed with Halo 2's campaign, as short as it was. It really expanded the universe very well, while maintaining the feel of the original (along with its humor). It introduced the Arbiter as a…
4 is even less Halo-ey than Reach.
Who cares what Bungie says? Many of us still love 2, and Bungie's opinion (and yours) has absolutely no bearing on our level of enjoyment.
Halo 2 was fantastic.
I cannot wait for this.
It may not be all that popular compared to others, but I was most impressed with Halo 2's campaign, as short as it was. It really expanded the universe very well, while maintaining the feel of the original (along with its humor). It introduced the Arbiter as a playable character, and one with considerably more depth…
I'm officially done with Halo. 4 was a huge disappointment for me. Between the unimaginative level design, heavy-handed story-telling, uninspired soundtrack, and overall turn toward "grittiness," I could not help but feel like the franchise I loved had finally been laid to rest. Now Microsoft is just making crappy…
Another reason for me to feel justified in my abstinence from AAA military shooters. As if I needed a reason beyond "they are unimaginative, copy-paste bro-fests with too much brown in their color palettes."
Ok, that was incredibly creepy.
If I know cats, this means that the XBone runs hot.
