Spot on! That helps a lot. I was imagining it was about the size of a large burrito/small hoagie, when it is actually much more compact.

I know right? Our only consolation is knowing some of these old bastards are going to die someday, the idea of them getting new bodies....well, shit, there goes the neighborhood.
Despite all of these photos, I still don't have a good idea of the size of this thing. Would you kindly add a photo of the device perched in your palm?
Right, that's why I didn't claim it was a fact.
The current thinking on Ambien is not that it sedates you to sleep, it simply knocks out your ability to form short term memory. So you wake up in the morning and can't remember any tossing or turning and you think "I must have slept really soundly".
There was a paper released in the last year or two that discussed brain metabolism as the source of our need for sleep. I don't remember how much of this was fact based and how much was conjecture, and I wish I could find the paper, but here is the gist:
Growing up is highly overrated. I accidently did it and now can't take it back.
Key moment: the "highbrow" critic explicitly states he has no children.
There are old urban climbers and there are bold urban climbers, but there aren't many old, bold urban climbers.
Gawd I loved the STALKER series. For all the faults, no game immersed me so deeply as that one did. So tough when I first started out. It was really the first game that forced me to abandon run-and-gun and fire from a stationary position behind cover, using iron sites.
Ant man, is that you?
Fanta was what happened when the Coca Cola plants in Nazi Germany couldn't get the necessary ingredients to make Coke. Kind of fascinating history, actually.
Is it weird that, as an atheist, I know a LOT more about what the bible says (or particular religious tenets) than the people that have supposedly spent their whole lives studying it?
Printers, man. Just...printers. Even thinking about them makes me angry. I find the fax/printer "death scene" in office space strangely satisfying.
Are you limited to one or the other?
You have your way of living. If you choose to spend your life defenseless in order to reduce the risk of harm from a firearm, that is a risk-benefit scenario that you have performed and come to a conclusion. Good for you. But that doesn't make you "right".
I too, have suffered a home invasion. I felt so stupid at the time for not having a means of defending myself, especially as a military veteran. The 35-40 minute police response time to the 911 call was also a point of education. I will never be caught in that situation again.
That is a seriously fucked up thing to say.
My mom used to run all over LA using a bus pass when she was 9 years old. Went to riding lessons, then the library, then the pool and park with friends, and home before dark.
Good.
