Not even to yourself. Almost all adults have people who depend on them emotionally and materially.

I don’t disagree with any of that, but with appropriate support, he may be able to be useful to Sansa, or whoever rules the North. In the world of GoT, we see plenty of shifting alliances, including among those who have betrayed each other in the past. Granted, the North seems to have a longer memory than the south...

He’s a man who, because of his substantial power over her, was able to handle her body for his personal gratification without her consent and at the cost of her own comfort and sense of autonomy. Whether he defines that gratification as sexual (and I’m inclined to think his penchant for rubbing and touching women is

But Theon could pull it together to claim the throne of the Iron Island and support the Starks from the sea.

He is Sansa’s legal husband...

Oops, sorry if that seemed out of left field.

Awesome.

LOSING YOUR KIDS.

Honestly, I think (functional) Boomers are so far past regular drug use that it’s beginning to to have appeal again. Whereas Xers are still too close to that moment when you realize, “Oh shit, the people who still get wasted have a serious problem.”

Having to choose a preference, I choose HRC, but I agree with your sentiment 100%.

Agreed. I have a distinct preference for one of the two, for very specific reasons, but it’s been humbling to realize how much more sensitive I am to the zealotry from the other candidate’s supporters than I am from mine.

I’ve encouraged my husband to consider grad school, if he could group the classes correctly, on the basis that we’d come out to near even on a shorter daycare schedule and with the tax implications, while providing care we’d both be more comfortable with, while

Apparently there’s a shortage of infant spots here, but it is a super family oriented neighborhood, and I would guess that commercial rents are lower. Except for Lincoln, the businesses aren’t very dense.

Like, how could the waiting list be LONGER than, like, 9 months + 3 months?

Man, you’re making me feel lucky. I’m seeing $375 a week or $80-85 a day in Lincoln Square/ North Center/ Ravenswood.

Meanwhile, a lot of men are afraid of the backlash of staying at home, even if they make less than their partners.

I’m researched day cares now, in Chicago. We’re looking at paying $375 a week, for 52 weeks. We might have some flexibility with home daycares for $80 - $85 a day.

Fair enough, I didn’t realize they were insisting on the engagement shoot as part of the package. I know with my photographer, the contract was for “up to eight hours”, which seemed more than fair to me since I was taking their whole day, whether I needed it or not.
