Is this based on anything besides that interview that keeps getting posted? (Why is one Price is Right winner’s word taken as gospel on this all the time? The winner in my group when I went didn’t have to pay a cent to get her stuff.)

There’s big difference between “mid-century modern” “open concept,” which still had defined kitchen, dining, living room spaces, just without doors between them, and today’s “open concept” which is just one big room that can be styled into a living/dining/kitchen. I am not too sure that the midcentury trend has

I quit birchbox in a fit of anger after one of the “products” they sent was a set of cardboard coasters. But I do miss the high-end skincare samples.

This is exactly the kind of data I was referring to, thank you. I am generally against the sex offender registry (or, generally, any other permanent punishment that doesn’t allow reconsideration over time), but just noticed a similarity between the “I know someone who is married to the girl he dated when she was...”

Are there any actual numbers on how many registered sex offenders are child molesters vs. those who were in a questionable teenage relationship or had some other less serious offense (as the Congressman above describes)? It seem like those people are brought up every time anyone discusses the sex offender registry,

Question: If a person chooses “they” as a pronoun, shouldn’t their verbs still be singular, not plural? As in, “They was bisexual, non-binary, and intersex.” They wasn’t multiple people.

I love how the original post dismisses The Good Place as “the dumb show before [Will and Grace]” then complains “is there nothing new in Hollywood?”

My younger brother (adopted, like me) was a crack baby and guess what? We still had to wait over 3 years to get him. Adopting isn’t easy.

I am adopted. I think it is a beautiful way to create a family. I also have two biological children of my own. Everyone’s reproductive choices are their own and are equally valid.

I don’t know what is “cancerous” rather than just obnoxious about the Supernatural fandom. I’d replace that with theMcElroy podcast fandom

Meh. I want to hate it, but, if I am honest, if it were a woman writing a show about how her ex married a princess I’d be excited about it. If he were completely out of left field (like he had no other credits to his name and was using this to break into Hollywood) it would be different, maybe.

But he BETTER not

According to her wiki, her actual name starts with an A (but the internet is strangely silent as to what it is). Jedediah is such a bold choice for a stage name that I kind of respect it.

I think the joke was less about how they’re racist and more that they’re dumb but cute white girls - so, the stereotypical ASU student

Most of those links are about how ASU isn’t racist, though (someone posted fliers as a “joke,” they were immediately removed, it was taken very seriously by faculty and students alike; students planned to wear all black in the student section at the football game and issued specific guidelines when people pointed out

Younger is in season 4 right now and is still excellent, though. Exception that proves the rule, I guess.

The only thing I hate about GLOW is that I can’t be every single wrestling persona from it for Halloween

There was also those excellent months immediately following where she styled herself as Margot Tenenbaum (like the goth Oscars look, so, so good)

That is not a pug.

Seriously. I was so disappointed in their non-response to the homophobia accusations.

I am not (well ok I am a little) ashamed to say I love Fixer Upper and Joanna and I tolerate Chip as an extension of that brand, but come on. “Rich kid invests in several things before one pans out” has been written over and over and over.
