I think at a certain point you just have to give up on those people. The whole, “why do we call it feminism if it’s about equal rights?!” argument is basically the same logical basis as “but why just #blacklivesmatter?” Or “why is there no white entertainment television?” (Or the “Mommy why does he get to open

I feel like last season they tried to tease a flirtation between a couple of the girls as well (not as blatantly as this)?

Maybe JJ was just the only one shitty enough to participate in Clint's big gay idea?

I’m saying that if she goes to her death believing they were her friends, who she gave gifts to, she’s not harmed. Unless they take so much she has nothing to live on.

To who? Who is harmed?

If Bettencourt viewed these men as her friends and she wanted to give them money, then no one was harmed, in my opinion. The only “harm” comes if you believe that her children have some “right” to inherit that money. I don’t think that anyone has that right.

You’re right - I’m sure the facts here show that they went beyond the line (especially since she had dementia. They definitely took advantage.). But, generally, I feel like you always hear about the nurse or neighbor being sued by the absentee children of a rich person who died (and left the nurse/neighbor a huge sum

Look, I hate elder abuse and people taking advantage as much as the next person, but at least these people were there for this woman, showing up every day, caring for her, being her "friend," even it was for money. Why should “Bettencourt’s estranged daughter Francoise Bettencourt Meyers” get billions instead? She

ABC has been promoting it. They’re calling it “Brokeback Bachelor,” lol.

The fiction of what? That sometimes people meet, like each other, and date for a while? And a few of them get married? It would be strange to not buy into that...

That’s 1/6 that ends in marriage. I’d say that’s good odds. Better than my marriage/boyfriend ratio.

Probably the ten people who are currently married to someone they met on the show, at least. Maybe their children as well.

There have been four “winning” couples that got married and one who married his runner up. So out of 30 seasons, they’ve had a 1/6 success rate - that’s much better than my boyfriends/marriage success rate so I think it’s pretty good ;)

I don't care about panty lines. Should I? Is everyone talking about my lines behind my back?

I think what happens in country is pretty much just like what happens in the movie business. The higher-ups think, “oh, women, what do they like? Bubblegummy pop songs about God and girly stuff, with a twang, right? Make more of that!” (“women just want formulaic rom-coms, right?”), then when those songs (or movies)

Does a non-disclosure agreement even cover illegal activities? Although not going to the police about a rape is not illegal, the rape itself sure as hell was. Could this person go on record about the rape without divulging that the campaign covered it up (and leave the media to figure that out on their own)?

All that for £15,000/$25,000?! In the US we pay at least twice that to humiliate yourself on TV (Fear Factor, Wipeout, etc. - $50k prize!).

This is totally true. I read online all the time about how awful the ending to Battlestar Galactica was, but I binge watched the series and while there are definitely some things I would change (some weird character choices, like with Starbuck), I was happy with it. But on the other hand, Lost, which I watched weekly,

Ah - I think that’s just the fundamental disagreement between our views, then. Agree to disagree.

You don’t get to perform sexual acts in front of those who have not consented, full stop. Consent isn’t given just because you think someone is asleep or “not paying attention.”
